SPIRITWIND: News

Fall is Here So get in gear! - October 26, 2009

I'm flabbergasted at just how fast time flies! We've been busy and love it the past few weeks! After two weekends off in a row! (How'd that happen? Ron?)
We get back on the road again.
Coming up is the annual Church Convention at the House of Power in Hernando!
We'll be there for the services on Saturday morning, evening and Sunday Morning! I'm telling you, if you want to get your spiritual batteries recharged you need to come to this event. These precious folks are serious about loving on God and letting His Spirit rain down on them! Looking forward to it!
We're going through some changes and growing pains and stretching in the Spirit as a ministry so pray for us! PLEASE!
Check out our calendar page for all the other places we'll be in the next few weeks. Hope to see you there!
I guess I should finally get to the title. Since it's fall and cooler weather has settled in.(Thank you Jesus!) it's a great time to ride and get out and do some sowing, watering or harvesting! We can participate in the "Go ye therefore unto the uttermost parts of the Earth, preaching the good news of the Kingdom of God" thing! How about it?
Sounds pretty good to me!
Till next time, God Bless you and be safe and excited about Jesus!

Blessings

Headin' South - October 1, 2009

WOW! I can't believe it's October!...Fall is in the air and that means Biketoberfest is just around the corner. But first we have to head south to Sebring for the annual Run To The Heartland motorcycle rally!

After being absent last year because of conflicting schedules, we're all looking forward to seeing our brothers and sisters from South Florida and getting a chance to minister to the thousands of folks who show up!

We've been really busy the past few weeks and as it stands right now, we only have two or three open weekends till the end of the year! Praise God!

We've been praying for the Lord to open doors for us and He is doing just that!

Check out our calendar page and come join us when we're nearby!

God Bless and ride safe! Keep your eye's on Jesus for he alone died on the cross to redeem you and rose from the grave to give you eternal life!

Hallelujah!

Whatsup! - September 14, 2009

After a couple weeks of rest we are back on the road again. We have a lot of things coming up in the next few weeks.
We will be in Green Cove Springs this Saturday, Sept.19 at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. They are celebrating their 140th anniversary. It will be a day of fellowship, good food, and music. Sunday, Sept. 20, we will be at The Rock Church in Homosassa for the morning service. The service starts at 10:30. We would love to have you join us.
The addresses and times are posted on our calender, please check it out.
If any of these places are in your neighborhood or you would like to take a ride, keep us in mind. We enjoy the fellowship with our current friends, and meeting new friends. As always we covet your prayers. If you have a prayer request, please email spiritwind@spiritwindministry.com, and we will be happy to pray for you.
Love in Christ,

'bout time!!! - August 26, 2009

Yah think?

To say we've been busy since the Mountain Man rally in West Virginia is an understatement! Not just playing but with life itself!

And since we haven't written any updates in about a hundred years, I thought it was, as the title suggests, " 'bout time" (unnh huh!)

Funny how things in the world that we depend on can go "Poof" up like smoke! A couple of us lost our jobs when we got back and that's okay because God is truly our source!

He always opens up new doors and it's always for the better.

Speaking of opening doors we made a lot of new friends while in West Virginia and had quite a few invites to minister at events and churches up and down and around the eastern seaboard. Praise God, he'll have to make a way!

Oh yeah, if you haven't done so yet, click on the photo page and check out the pictures we took this year! The cabin views are simply awesome!

I think everybody should plan on making the trip next year to enjoy the festivities, the awesome mountain views, and the blackberry cobbler at the Gateway! ( Okay I confess that's almost my favorite part of the trip! Short of aggravating Sonnie! (My ultimate fave! Hee Hee!)

God showed up again this year, and did we ever get blessed. Capping off the weekend was an awesome message from John Ogden, CMA's "Grand Poobah" on Sunday morning under the tent and out of the rain.

Yes the Lord blessed us with a lot of rain this year, so what, it was cool, Saturday was absolutely beautiful and everybody had a great time.
It was all worth it to help the Ranch and the kids!

We're looking forward to several events and church ministry opportunities over the next few months and remind you to check out our calendar page to see if we're going to be nearby! We'd love to see you and spend some time together praising the Lord and hanging out!

Not much else to report for now. I just wanted to get some updated news posted.

Remember to pray for us and thank you because it means so much to each of us personally!

Keep lovin Jesus and know that no matter what, He is in control and forever faithful!

Blessings

The Past two weekends then heading to West Virginia - July 21, 2009

What an awesome two weekends the last two have been. We were blessed to spend time with our friends up in Alachua at Legacy Baptist Church on the 12th. Pastor John graciously gave up his pulpit to us Sunday AM for the service and another that evening with some of our CMA friends coming over from Palatka and Jacksonville. The Church really overwhelmed us with an outpouring of love and helping us to Bless Eagle Mountain Ranch . We will be back up in Alachua on the 12th of December for the Memorial Ride that Sonny heads up every year then the Sunday Service at the Church on the 13th.

Then this past Sunday we made some new friends at the House of Power Church in Hernando. What a great time in the Spirit. (Ya had to be there) Mike and Patty surprised us all by coming over and kickin it on drums and CMA members from Ocala also dropping in. A great lunch was prepared by the Ladies at the Church after the Service even Biff was full. ( meaning we didn't stop at Dairy Queen on the way Home) We were so blessed by the Freedom granted us by Bishop George and the other leaders of the Church and God was faithful to meet many needs. We are looking forward to going back ASAP.

We are in great anticipation of heading north next Wed the 29th. Back to old West Virginny and hangin out with Mountainman and Shirley. The Mountain Man Rally 09 begins Thursday the 30th and ends with a Sunday AM service. I heard John Ogden CEO of the Christian Motorcyclist Association will be speaking Sunday AM. We will be needing much prayer for traveling mercies , and for many chances to minister during the Rally. Thank you to all who have responded by helping us support Mountain Man and Shirley in their ministry at Eagle Mountain Ranch. There is still time to join in to support The ranch if you haven't heard or need some info see the post under this one.

                                          Be Blessed

EAGLE MOUNTAIN RANCH/ MOUNTANMAN RALLY 09 - June 1, 2009

When Mike (Mountain Man) Lamborne asked us to come to West Virginia last year and be a part of the worship and praise time at the Mountain Man Rally 08 July 31st -Aug 2nd in Circleville we never realized the bond that would link our ministries together. We have established a freindship deeper than family that only God could have arranged. So it is with great joy and expectation that we are being allowed to go and participate again this year. As many of you know Mountainman painted the cover for our "ARISE" cd and has asked to do the cover for our next recording to be titled "SEIZE THE LAND"

The rally is a benefit for Eagle Mountain Ranch a retreat and learning center for special needs children and families. It has been on our hearts to do more than just go as musicians , but to go and be a blessing to the Ranch and represent all of you who as the Lord leads would become a part of pouring out a blessing on this wonderful ministry and our ministry as well. We have a goal of 10,000 dollars and we know God is able to go far beyond what we can believe him for.

Donations can be made on our website www.spiritwindministry.com on our partners page through paypal or mailed to Spiritwind Ministry 931 Stonybrook Circle Port Orange Fl 32127 All donations are tax deductible and receipts will be available.

We pray that you have been encouraged and blessed through the ministry of music that God has called Spiritwind to bring forth. We endeavor to accurately and boldly proclaim the Name of Jesus and communicate the need for every person to know Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

I'm Not Where I Want To Be, But I'm not Where I Was - April 28, 2009

As Christians we are expected to grow. To become mature, To become wise, To become more Christ like. People overlook alot of things from young Christians, but the same things are hard to over look when they know that you've been saved for 30 years. Our Granddaughter Skylar recently attended her first "biker" event. She went to the CMA Easter Service in Daytona Beach. Bikers were coming out of the wood work to look at, cooo at, smile at, and some to even hold her. What they saw , they found endearing. At the same event was our Grandson, Caleb. Caleb is 5. If he would have behaved in the same manner as Skylar , I believe that there would have been much concern among those same bikers. WHY? Because he was older. He had learned how to behave as a 5 year old. He could walk, talk, talk, talk, and talk, have intelliagable conversations and interact with adults. Run, walk, skip and did I mention talk. As babies, they are fed, and they are clothed, loved, and cherished, and growth is visible. But as things are put in ...... Things come out.
Caleb was like Sky, but he has grown. He went from milk to meat. (and mac n cheese) From birth through childhood, decisions are made for you. Caleb and Sky grow because of the efforts of others. Pastors, teachers, evangelists, mentors, etc.... But there is a time when you have to take responsibility.
Growth at times is wonderful, at times painful, at times joyful and exciting. But growth is always necessary.

When I was fairly young, I remember my mother taking me to the Doctor because I was having problems with pain in my arms, legs and sides. This brought concern to my parents. The doctor told her after several tests and questions, that I was having growing pains. It was painful, but I out grew it. In the same respect, through the years of walking with the Lord, I have had some painful times, but God was there through it all. When I came through to the other side, it was wonderful to see had God had turned things around. It was exciting to know that He loved me so much that He would do that just for me! I became joyful after the pain.

God is calling His people to the next level. What ever level you are in, there is a "Next Level". If you think you have arrived, you need to realize that you have not. God always calls us to raise up a Standard. Calling us into excellence.
In order to attain this, steps have to be taken. Just as with Caleb and Skylar. You have to be fed. Know that what you put in ........something will come out. Good nurishment will produce good mature fruit. When I was a child I thought as a child , when I have grown I put away childish things.

Some of you that have known me for a while, know that there is a little less of me than there used to be. I went on a diet. Mostly I changed what and how much I put in and the effort was PAINFUL!!!!!!!!!! My flesh screamed with agony. It took a daily concious effort, (sometimes hourly). I had to be deliberate about it. I did'nt like it , but I wanted to be different. Wishing it, wanting it, hoping for it, longing for it, did'nt make it happen. If that would have worked, I would look like Barbie in a size 3. It was painful yet exciting, I was joyful, but it was not always fun. I never felt like it!!!!!! As you know with babies, what comes out of them is not so pleasant.
But if I slacked off of what I knew to be effective for growth, that also become evident. Growth is always necessary. I had became a product of what I put in. As a child, my parents were in charge of what I ate. They nurtured me. Then there came a time that it had to come out. (or off) Spiritually we go through the same process, we have to read, study, pray, take in Godly instruction, surround ourselves with encouragement, spend time in prayer, talk with God, then listen, in order for good to come forth. Behold all things become new.

We have to exercise our faith. I am not a fan of exercise. (Charlene on TV).
If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got. We need to grow. Move forward. Press toward the prize of the high calling.
For me to keep what I have gained and excel , I will have to understand that this is a life style that takes everyday effort. I am pursuaded that you can't stay the same and be a healthy Christian. I know people that feel that they have all they need and want. But it is my belief that you can not survive if you do not strive. I know that for me there is no place to stop, only new and higher levels.

We are God's children. How much more does our Heavenly Father love us.... And for this cause, He will make choices for us to grow us to maturity.

I didn't always like the things my parents required of me. I don't always like some of the things God requires, but it is necessary for growth.

Do we want to stay where we are or do we want to grow in God? He is calling us up. ARISE.

Leesburg Bike Fest!!! - April 21, 2009

Hey Ya'll...I can't believe it's time for the Leesburg Bikefest again! Where in the World did the time go?

This will be my fourth trip to the main street stage for the Sunday morning service and I'm excited to see what the Lord is going to do this year!
After seeing what happened at the Doghouse in Daytona Beach during this year's Bike week, I've got maximum anticipation to see what the Father has in store for us.

I hope everybody who can will attend the service. There's something about the power of corporate anointing that is thrilling!

If there's one thing I know, (Sonnie'd say not much!) it is that there are so many folks trapped in utter darkness and despair these days by the enemy of our souls and his legions of demons.

But take heart for the word of God declares that if "one can put thousands to flight"
Think how many we can disperse with greater numbers of Christians on site and praying this Sunday!

Pray for souls to be added to the Kingdom! That captives will be set free! That the chains of bondage will be broken! The hungry shall be fed and the thirsty shall drink living water! All in the powerful name of Jesus. Who is Lord of Lords and King of Kings!

Keep us in your prayers as well. We appreciate it more than you know!

Blessings for now...see you in Leesburg!

Ressurection Report - April 14, 2009

Thanks to all who prayed for us and this service you are a part of all that took place.
Praise God from Whom all blessings flow! We're so excited about what the Father has done over the past Easter weekend!

It was the band's great privilege to be a part of the Easter Morning Biker Service hosted by the Shepherd's Flock Chapter of CMA, Daytona Beach.
(aww Heck, you know it's our home chapter as well!)

Our Brothers and Sisters did a wonderful job, serving breakfast and parking and blessing bikes and praying for folks.

Jim brought a great (and short!) message and the Lord moved in a very sweet and gentle way calling four new souls into the Kingdom and seven folks rededicating to follow Christ.

What a blessing! We love to plant, we love to water, but we truly love to harvest!

It is always an honor when our Lord Jesus Christ allows us to assist Him in loving on folks!

There was a lot of that going on all morning long by every Christian in attendance!

Stay tuned in to the site I have some awesome news to post in a few days that we are really excited about!

So keep checking back and we hope to see you at Leesburg in a couple of weeks.

Don't forget Sunday morning on mainstreet!

Blessings as always!!!

I'm so excited!!! - April 2, 2009

Hey there Hi there Ho there!!!

If you're aged like me you'll know where that phrase came from. It's appropriate for the day. I don't have much to report except we're about a week out from the Easter Service for Bikers. Check out our calendar for details!
I am feeling a Holy Ghost excitement welling up in my Spirit!
Something awesome is on the horizon and I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas morning to come!
Jim, Sonnie, Ronnie, and I are in maximum anticiption of a major shift in our ministry which is part of the blessings from God we've been expecting to overtake us this year!
Hallelujah!
Pray for us as the Lord has does his work in each of our lives.
If you haven't heard the new "Arise" CD yet, check it out and buy a copy here on the site. Heck buy two and give one away!

The CD's are the major financial resource we have to help us pay for gas and stuff so we can go and minister at all the events we're invited to! Every little bit helps.
(nough said about that!)

Thank you to all the folks who have gotten copies of it! We appreciate each and everyone of you!
Can you feel the wind a blowing from the Throne Room?

Whoa sounds like a new song coming on!
Praise His Holy Name!

Gotta Go....Be BLESSED!

Keep on Praying!!! - March 23, 2009

Hey ya'll...It seems like everyday I get an email or a phone call about praying for somebody or other! It's not an incovenience or annoyance to me. The Holy Spirit has shown me that this is a great opportunity and an honor! First of all, when you consider how hard it is for anyone to feel comfortable enough to make the approach and the request in the first place.
I must confess that there were many times in the past when I've taken this much to lightly!

The Holy Spirit has been working on me the past few month about the volatility of Prayer and how the mercy seat of God is grasped by violent and determined men and women. Not violent in today's terms. But Tenacious and fiercely desperate prayer warriors who fully understand that Our Heavenly Father responds to stalwart petitioners who are not afraid to stand in his prescence and exercise their Faith as they plead with him in prayer. Remember, "it's Faith that moves Mountains! not recitations or repetitions!"

I've been reminded repeatedly to pray for healings, restorations, and salvations over the past few months and feel a greater necessity than ever before to be obedient and exercise the number three weapon of a kingdom citizen, which is prayer! (Number one is the Name of Jesus! Number two his Holy Blood!)
So the next time someone asks you to pray for them do it whole heartedly. Don't get bogged down in the details but pray the solution. God's Holy prescence and will through the actions of the Holy Spirit and Angels.
I think it takes a lot for someone to approach us and even ask for prayer so we should humbly and graciously comply. Don't you!
Sorry I didn't men to get preachy. (old habits die hard!)
Be strong, be bold, be blessed!
Dale

Riding the Whirlwind - March 10, 2009

Waaahooo!!! I'm not talking about a roller coaster here! We just finished two consecutive weekend's riding God's whirlwind! We played three different events the first weekend in March and just finished this weekend with a festival in West Palm Beach and an awesome breakfast service Sunday morning at the Doghouse on main street during bikeweek! Hallelujah!

There were confirmed reports that at least four souls were added to the Kingdom during that service! Praise God!!!

Even though we were busy, busy, busy, we did get some time to spend with our dear friends Mountain Man and his wife Shirley who were here all week painting bikes!

Let me tell you, even though we were extremely tired in body we have been so excited and invigorated in our spirits by the Lord!

God bless all the Christian biker groups who labored without ceasing morning, noon, and night during the week. I pray the Lord bless every effort that was of Him during the past several days!

Remember to order your copy of "Arise" here on our site.

God Bless

Here Goes! - February 19, 2009

Hey Brothers and Sister! It's a great day to be alive! It's a wonderful time to be in the Kingdom of God! Bike week is a couple of weeks away and the fields are white and ready for the Harvest. Pray therefore to the Lord of the Harvest that he may send forth those who will work his favor and glean souls for the Kingdom. Salvation is the order of the Day! Loving folks just where they are is the rule and like my grandma always said, "you can catch more flies with Honey than with vinegar!"

Hmmm! Hope to see you at State Rally and at the Battle grounds first weekend of Bikeweek! Pray for lives to be touched and that the Son of God will be revealed in Us!

Blessings!!!

Almost Valentines!!!! - February 10, 2009

Hey Ya'll...It's been an amazingly busy Month! Where did January go anyhow?

We're only a couple of weeks out from Florida State Rally and Bikeweek! Woohoo! We're doing a concert on Saturday at State Rally with Jerry Williams...I personally am looking forward to that blessing! Hope to see you there!

The very next morning we're playing at the Battle Grounds across from Destination Daytona starts at 9am! Then the following Sunday morning we're playing at the Dog House right on Main Street!

Pray for us as we'll be Down amongst them sharing the light and love of God in the darkness!

Checkout the calendar page for exact times and locations...

I'm looking forward to Valentines Day...I guess I'm unashamedly a sentimentalist! I saw a cool Church sign the other day...it said "this Valentine's Day give your heart to Jesus!" After all doesn't the word say we should "Love the Lord Our God with all our Heart, Mind, Body, and Strength!"
Amen!!! and Amen!!!

Really great news the "Arise" CD is at the pressing plant as we speak and we're praying to have them in our hands by State Rally! Yahooo!!!

The Big Game!!! - January 28, 2009

Hope you all are doing well! It's been a while since I posted anything on our site, so I felt compelled to add a note.

We're probably going to have the new CD "Arise" in our hands in about three weeks! Hallelujah! It's been a long and winding road on that one. I've already started laying down tracks for number four though. (Sort of Getting a head start, if you know what I mean!)
If you're getting prepared for the Big Game on Sunday I pray you get blessed by the outcome! None of my Favorites made it to the big show, so I'll watch with passive interest.

Oh well, I've got Jesus and working for him is more exciting to me anyway!

We're starting to get busy again and have some exciting events coming up. We're very happy to be going back to West Palm Beach this year and playing at the Holy Name of Jesus Festival!
Bikeweek will be here before you know it and we've got a first ever opportunity to play two different venues each Sunday of the craziness!

Pray for us that God's light will shine through us to reach those poor lost souls who'll be here partying.

Well brothers and sisters be blessed and pray for our nation like never before!

Blessings
Dale

It's is Finished!!! - January 12, 2009

Yippee Ki yi yeah!
Good news friends and neighbors! The "Arise" CD is finished! Yep, no foolin'! We put the final touches on the last three songs on Saturday at brother Dan's Studio in the Oaks and now all that's left is getting the artwork and stuff and the master off to be duplicated and boxed up and shipped back to us. It is so relieving to finally get done with this project. It's taken almost eleven months worth of time and effort and prayer to bring these songs to final form. I hope and pray they will bless everybody who hears them!
The CD should be available for sale sometime in early February! Hallelujah and thank you Jesus!

Now we can begin work on #4! Which by the way, we've already started on! It's called "Seize the Land" and you'll get blessed with it as well!

Hey I just wanted to let all of you know. So be blessed and let His light shine through you wherever you find yourself.

Oh Yeah! How bout them Gators!!!!

Blessings
Dale

2009 will be Divine! - January 6, 2009

Yahoooooo!!!! 2009 is here! Can you believe it? I'm so excited about the fact that I made it this far and what lies ahead of us!

It gets my little heart going pitty-pat as I consider all the ministry opportunities and divine appointments that God the Father has in store for us this new year!

I pray you are getting yourself prepared and ready to do all that you can whenever the need arises!

Speaking of Arising, the new CD is a few day's away from being complete and then it will be sent off to be duplicated. You can preview some of the tunes on the site here if you want.
The release date is sometime the end of this month! Hallelujah!!!

I pray the Lord will pour out a blessing on you that you can hardly contain over the next twelve months!

God Bless and look for his divine prescence in your life everyday!

Twas the Night Before...! - December 24, 2008

Hey Ho HO Ho!!!

Here I am sitting at my desk this Christmas Eve morning staring out the window at beautiful blue skies and sunshine and realizing how thankful I am for living where it's warm! I know the song says we're supposed to dream of a white christmas, but I hope folks who love snow and stuff like that do get their wish! For me I'm a happy little clam being able to celebrate the birth of our
Saviour in my rocking chair on my screened in porch, thank you Jesus!

Sorry I was rambling!

I hope and pray that as we celebrate this wonderful holiday that our hearts will be filled with God's Love and His peace. I urge you to pray for our troops and their families who cannot be togother for Christmas this year! I know how they feel, I too spent two Christmas holidays in uniform and far away from the one's I loved!

I pray that Christ will be the center of your holiday and that everybody will be blessed in your household and circle of friends and family!

So wherever you are this Christmas I hope you get a double blessing!!!
From all of us in Spiritwind we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a bright and Happy New Year!!

Oh Yeah, Go Gators!!!!

Love ya'll

Wonderful Time in Alachua! - December 16, 2008

Just wanted to take a moment and thank all the wonderful folks we met over the weekend in Alachua!

The Biker memorial on Saturday was awesome! The reception we received from all the CMA'ers and other Biker folks was humbling. The ribs were not to shabby either! I think we ate half a ton!
Inspite of the chilly conditions it was a very blessed time for the Band!

Sunday was an equally sweet blessing! Pastor John and all the congregation of the Legacy Baptist Church rolled out the welcome mat for us and I think we got more blessed than they did.
If you live in that area and are looking for a loving hospitable church home...you should check these folks out. They've got a heart for people and it shows!
We want to thank everyone for the hospitality and kindness we received, and look forward to our next visit!
I also want to put a bug in your ear to pray for all the folks up North and out West who are getting lambasted with freezing snow and cold weather.
Pray for their safety and protection as well as God's provision for the neccessities of life that are hard to come by when there is 4 feet of snow on the ground! (I have experienced that stress firsthand and know how prayer can help ease things!

Have a Blessed Christmas and a very Happy New Year and don't forget, "Go Gators!"
Hee...hee..
Love ya'll
Dale

It's almost Done!!!! - December 5, 2008

I'm sitting here on this beautiful Friday morning and realized we're 20 days out from Christmas and less than a month before a whole another year starts up!

The question in my mind is where did all the time go and was any of it productive?
I'm thinking a lot of it was absolutely awesome as I reflect on all the places the band has traveled to and had the privilege to play this past year. All the great people we've met along the way and I'm most proud of the fact that we're almost finished with the Arise CD!

This project has been a long journey and we've only a few little tweaks to make on a couple of songs and it'll be ready for the mastering lab and production house. I think I can speak for the whole band that it has been an absolute delight working with Brother Dan McCraw on this recording at his studio in the Oaks. (I can't wait to start work on number 4!)

If you failed to notice on our home page when you clicked in, the album cover for Arise is posted there. Another fabulous blessing from our Brother Mike "Mountain Man" Lamborne! It's an absolute honor to have him paint this stunning picture for us.

I must admit that after the experience of producing this album, I for one have had my Christmas present already!
It is so overwhelming to finally hear songs come together and come to life the way the Lord gave them to us. It is very humbling and pleasing to the soul!

We have been praying all through this process that started way back at the beginning of 2008 that everyone who listens to "Arise" will be blessed by the messages and the music.
Please continue to pray for us if you'd be so kind. We covet them!
God Bless you all!
Dale

Black Friday????? - November 28, 2008

First off...I'm going to take authority over this title in Jesus name! Amen!!!

I used to work in retail and I understand why and how this term came to be part of our cultural venacular! However, I've only one thing to say about it! If it's so crowded and crazy in all the stores and mall's is it really worth all the hassle of getting up at 2am to make it to the store that's opening at 4am with all kinds of deals on stuff that will either be broken or stuffed in a closet and forgotten by February of next year?

Boggles my mind! I made the mistake of going shopping on this day ONCE!!!!!! I will never do it again no matter how many deals (?) are advertised during my football games.

Hey God Bless you if you do! You won't have to worry about me and my sweet wife taking your parking spot at Walmart! (hee hee!)

Hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving day!!! Food was great. My pies were okay! (my mom say's I'm out of practice.) Oh yeah I can bake a pie (from scratch!)!

The best thing that happened yesterday was the email from Mountain Man. He sent us the cover artwork for the "Arise" CD.

You can check it out on the Homepage and the music page. It's awesome to behold! I think you'll be blessed when you see it!

Mountain Man is such an anointed artist and man of God and a great friend of this ministry!

I can't tell you how excited I am about getting this project completed. The Father has blessed each of us from day one and His anointing is evident on every song.

All that's left to be done is some final mixing and then the CD can be processed in the mastering lab and sent to Discmakers to be mass produced! Hallelujah!!!

You may preview some of the tunes on our music page if you like. I pray the Lord will touch your heart and encourage you.

Well have an awesome "White Friday" by staying close to the light of Jesus Christ.

God Bless you all!!!

It's Almost Turkey Time!!! - November 19, 2008

Thought I'd better add something on the site before the holiday got here.
Hope you all are doing well. Here we are approximately a week away from Turkey Day.
I'm not going to spend any words on the usual cliche's which we hear about now. You know like Thanksliving and thankfulness. If you have to wait for one day a year to be thankful then my friend you're in deep trouble.

The Lord is so gracious and forgiving every minute of every day and his unbelievable Grace so overwhelming that He's been taking me to the woodshed about every other day to remind this old knot head of how much he cares for me and everyone else and that is very very humbling.

I'm glad that Thanksgiving only comes once a year. My only thing personally is that I wish the pilgrims would have made prime rib or barbeque ribs the official entree, since I don't care much for Turkey myself. But if you like it, then praise be!

Check out the music section on the site! Ron put three tracks from the new CD on for you to get a sneak peek or uh listen to! We've been trying to get the last few songs mixed down and ready for mastering. Pray for us it's arduous work!

I hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving and enjoy the most important part; which is being with family and friends and all the other loved ones God has placed around you and just enjoying this wonderful life the Lord has given us.

I'm truly thankful for that!

God Bless

Now What'll We Do? - November 5, 2008

Say Hey! Ya'll! I'm not ever going to get political on this website because it belongs to the Father God and only those things that concern Him are of concern to me and I think I speak for the rest of the Band when I say that.

You may or may not have stayed up half the night watching the endless election returns. I made it to 11pm and crashed.

I'm not sure what to make of our newly elected officials and the social issues decided on this Historic day.

All I know is that God is still on the throne and his is the highest power and if thing's don't go exactly how we think or want them to, then we must differ our idea's and thoughts to God's, for His way's are above our ways. (Thankfully! Hallelujah!)

So to answer the question. I believe we must pray more than ever for our leadership (like them or not!), for our country, our Troops and their families, our friends and our enemies around the globe!

This is going to be hard for some of us, (especially me, since I find myself being blatantly vocal about things when I should keep my opinions to my self. (it's a flaw and God's working on me. Thank You Jesus!)

There is a reason things turn out the way they do. Sometimes it's us stubbornly disobeying God and He'll relent and say okay kiddo have it your own way. I'll sitback and wait till you've made a royal mess of it and then cry out for me to come swooping in to fix it!
Guess what? He will!
Then it may just be part of God's ultimate plan and we must surrender to His Sovereign Will and Praise Him for Who He is...

However things turn out in the next few months and years, we have been given an awesome opportunity to show and share the Love of Jesus Christ to a lot of people, who plainly are looking for someone to take care of their needs. I think it should be Jesus not a man or political system! How about you?

Love you all and keep praying for us, we're almost done with Album Three and I feel God's wondrous blessings and anointing flowing as we finish it up.

Hope to see you someplace we're playing soon!

God Bless....

We played to Punkin's - October 28, 2008

Hey ya'll...
We just had a great weekend with our friends at the Port Orange Church of the Nazarine during their fall festival this past Saturday!
We were set up right in front of a huge field of pumpkins and it was a first for me to play to punkin's (that's how we hillbilly's pronounce the name!)
Fun time and a real blessing. Want to thank Pastor Mike and brothers Brian and Tom and the rest of the guys who helped us for giving us the opportunity to join them and get such a blessing!

We spent the afternoon running sound for the other groups which were fun to work with. The young kids from Orlando called the Black Rabbits, (cool name eh?) were a hoot. The worship team from the church was a real blessing and then the Keiffer Family played some old timey gospel bluegrass that got our toes a tappin and brought back some memories.

We finished out the day and God showed up and blessed us and we hope everybody else got touched as well...
It was a blast jammin for Jesus with Mikey again. He'll be with us next Sunday at the Volusia County Fair...we start noontime. Pray that we get to plant some seeds in the crowd as they come in the gates.
Well I just wanted to add something short and sweet and thank you for your prayers and support.

We appreciate you all so much.
God Bless!
